473 mL can from the LCBO; coded 05/04/2019 and served slightly chilled. One of two Lost Craft lagers waiting in the fridge for review.
Pours sparkling and effervescent, with a pale golden-hued body crowned with an inch of puffy, soapy white head. It recedes steadily over the next five minutes or so, leaving behind a lumpy, foamy cap and collar, as well as a thick coat of lace. One of the most attractive pale lagers I've gazed upon in recent memory, but I'm not getting much off the nose - just a few hints of apples, with subtler suggestions of grain and grass.
A fine lager; fruitier than I would've expected, but after looking into this beer they did use Galaxy hops, which pretty much explains that. There's a hint of something along the lines of apricot or tropical fruit right at the forefront, over top of a clean, grainy malt and doughy sweetness. Apples and nectarine by mid-sip, with only a touch of grassy, pithy hop bitterness towards the tail end; some doughy sweetness does linger into the aftertaste, but not for long. Medium-bodied, with good carbonation levels and a frothy texture - for a mere 4.2%, it does feel substantial on the palate, but I still found it very refreshing and extremely easy to toss back. As proof, I present to you an empty glass.
Final Grade: 3.74, a B grade. Lost Craft's Unifeye is miles ahead of most light lagers. More than good for what it is, I'd never turn it down in the summer - outside on a hot patio or golf course, I could easily go through several. These guys make straightforward stuff with mass appeal, and this follows the same template, but they are pretty good at it.

Bright gold under a moderate white head that settled to a full film, spotty lace most of the way down. Very active carbonation, streams of bubbles making their way to the top and giving the beer some bite and crispness. Aroma is very understated, just a whiff of grassy hops. Grassy hops again to taste, some sweetness from malts, and then a properly gentle bitter finish. Not a bad lager overall, just a notch above the macro stuff. Drinkable, fits the mould for the style.

Comes across as more of a American pale ale than American pale lager.
