This New England style Double IPA pours a murky gold color with juicy characters of peach and tropical fruits hitting the nose and pallet.

Canned on 8/13/21; consumed on 9/10/21
Pours an opaque, dirty golden orange body capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, soapy, white foam; great head retention leaves chunky islands of cap, a moderate, frothy collar, and a light dispersal of soapy, spotty lacing along the walls of the glass.
Aroma opens with a fresh array of tangerine, mango, and peach, with underripe white grape an earthy counterpart to an underlying papaya sweetness, a tinge of peppery spice into the back end reveals a quiet dank tones as orange zest closes.
Taste contrasts sweeter mango with the citric twang of pink grapefruit upfront, easing to clementine against mossy hops and musty lemon over the mid-palate and towards the back end as guava peel hints toward a richer yet delicate, hop-forward sweetness on the finish.
Mouthfeel brings a body on the lighter end of medium, with a fluffy, moderate-high carbonation guiding towards a slightly creamy texture; hoppy grit shows a moderate, earthy bitterness into the back end, while a juicy tingle on the finish sports a vague sensation of hop acidity lingering past the swallow.
A balanced, juicy burst of tropical and citrus fruits sees a level, hoppy tang wash over an otherwise gritty, somewhat resinous base; the roundedness of the aroma doesn't always translate to the flavor profile, but there's plenty here to make this NEIPA feel complete.
