The pour is a deep bronze color with a moderate amount of carbonation. The taste is sweet pretzel bun, molasses, grains, & a hint of brown sugar. Cheers! B

No canning date (released on 9/16/22, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 10/3/22
Pours a slightly foggy deep copper body topped with multiple fingers of rich, creamy, off-beige foam; great head retention leaves ¾ of a finger of cap, an expansive, chunky ring of collar, and gobs of soapy, webby lacing draping down the walls of the glass.
Aroma shows robust brown toast immediately, while burnt sugar accents are prominent and tones of charry bread crusts mesh with a building yeast profile; a mineralic prickle eases over time, leaving a fresh nuttiness washing over the back end of the bouquet.
Taste presents toasty bread cut with moderate yeastiness upfront, with a slight baked apple interlude crossing a tinge of brown sugar residuals over the mid-palate and clean wisps of charry bread crusts on the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body and a moderate fluff of rounded carbonation easing to immediate crispness and sporting a distant char; the mid-palate lightens to flakiness into an exceedingly dry back end and clean finish.
A heavy dosing of malt sweetness largely feigns attenuation, though despite feeling overly indulgent for the style, embraces an almost bready roast and quietly yeasty undercurrent to lean into some sensation of balance.
