Canned on 8/21/24; consumed on 9/19/24
Pours a foggy, burnt-orange hue topped with two fingers of dense, white foam; solid head retention leaves a half-finger of silky cap, a large, frothy collar, and modest spread of chunky, webby lacing encircling the walls of the glass.
Aromas of orange and passionfruit mesh with pink grapefruit as an air of sweet pineapple progresses, steadily fading into bready malt undertones and distant grassy resins.
Taste offers grapefruit juice, passionfruit, and sweet orange dominant upfront before settling with accents of tangerine and a subtle, grassy counter lingering across the profile.
Mouthfeel brings a medium body and moderate carbonation, dispersing subtly slick resins to a distant prickle past the mid-palate and the mildest bittering to compliment a clean, smooth finish.
Citrus-forward, trending sweet, and delicately elevated by a quiet, resinous imprint; a basic, competent hazy IPA in every fashion.
