Pours a cloudy juice in the chalice. First sip is alarming, not having signed on for this sort of treatment. But making the best of it, the usual fruity and citrusy aroma is not unpleasant. Taste is tangy for sure, sharp pineapple and . It's that raw grain and acid sensation that I don't dare for. And, eventually the bitter and astringent aftertaste staggers in to spoil the party. Still, this is actually more drinkable than the average NE style murky, but one still has to ask the question "Why?" From the 16 oz can purchased at the Brew Temple in Bellingham.

16oz poured served in 20oz nonic. Poured a very ugly dark orange-brown color the hue of babyshit. The beer had over an inch of white head that had very good retention and light lacing.

The aroma and flavor were the typical frooty of the style, with pineapple being the dominant aspect.

The body was the typical light and smooth of the style. Drinkability, aside from looking at a glass full of diarrhea, was OK, fairly typical. Overall, if you were to drink one blindfolded, it would be better.

32oz crowler bought at the Bine today, served in a little Georgetown sample glass.

Pours hazy straw yellow with a slight amber tinge, big frothy white head, medium carbonation. Smell is pineapple, mango, and flowers.

Taste is lemon and a little hint of mango -- maybe a bit more unripe mango. Resinous without too much piney-ness.

Mouthfeel is kind of full bodied but not too heavy. Fluffy fits as a descriptor to some extent. Overall, very nice beer.
