Pint in a mason jar (with a handle) at Chuck's Hop Shop Seward Park.
Clear, light amber-gold, small head. Lots of carbonation. Smell is pine resin, dank wet weeds, bitterness, lots of grain and floral sweetness. Taste is boozy and resinous, sweetness follows the aroma. Mouthfeel is thick. Not quite syrupy. Overall, this is an unbalanced monster of a WC IPA and I like it.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, piney and citrus hops, grapefruit, lemon and pine; slight dankness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and piney hops, grapefruit, lemon rind, light pine; citrus rind finish with light pine. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Definitely a West Coast hop bill, emphasizing citrus and pine. The citrus is a bit one-note, but satisfying. I personally would have liked some of the caramel I got in the aroma in the taste, but I think that style of malt is out of style for IPAs; this has a similar malt profile to many of the recent IPAs I've had. A worthy, but not special IPA.

Pours a bright clear small bubbles white dense head
Malt sweetness and sticky hops on the nose
Firm bitterness and nice pine/ Resinous but not dank
Finishes with a touch of mulled sweetness in coffee notes a good throwback old-school IPA

Pours a clear bright yellow with adequate foam in the Hopleaf goblet. Very odd aromatics— wintergreen, mint, plus pine and a coconut nose. Taste is canned peach with orange peel and marmalade. Moderately sweet with a persistent bitter edge.
This is fairly drinkable though it seems just overhopped and overly astringent. Seems like you should be able to get more pleasure out of all those hops rather than just blasting the taste buds. From the 16 oz can purchased at The Cave in Kirkland. No date.

16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy/hazy coppery gold color with an inch of just off-white head that had decent retention and no lacing.
Bright citrus and pine hops were at the front of the nose, with a bit of malt in the background.
Fairly similar on the tongue, nice bite, good foundation.
The body was on the full side of medium, had a nice bit of coarseness across the palate, and a semi-dry finish.
Drinkability was good. Being on the lower ABV end of the Imperial scale (just at 8%) it's one you could could have a couple of.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
