Served in 20oz nonic, Poured to the 16oz mark. Poured a very cloudy dark yellow color, with1-1/2 inches of white head that had good retention and moderate lacing.
The aroma had a very good yeast aspect, spice and esters, upfront, with a subtle yet solid grain foundation. Very similar on the tongue, with a slight bit of a fruit flavor at the very back end.
The body was light-medium, smooth, and had a semi-crisp finish. Drinkability was very nice, a pleasurable quaff, for sure. Overall, a pretty nice take on the style. Certainly worth a shot if you see it.
