This bright, straw-colored Corn Lager, presents a delicate range of aromatics. An array of malt-forward notes greet the palate upfront, featuring tones of fresh-baked biscuit, water cracker, and lightly toasted corn chips. As the beer opens up, the Saaz shines with a floral-meets-grassy profile adding a nuanced highlight and welcomed soft bitterness. Crib is light-bodied, thirst-quenching, and finishes crisp.

(16 oz can, 03/14/22; gifted by my bro, bought at the brewery 2 weeks ago... poured into my Human Robot Tubinger/tankard mug)
L: polished-clear, pale straw-colored liquid; fizzy, fuzzy, silken, off-white foam... the head doesn't hold well or lace at all
S: mildly masa-tinged aromas, kind of like a cream ale?... dried grass, saltines, sea air, chrysanthemum(?)... rather booming intensity and expressiveness; quite inviting
T: notably toasty, white cornbread-y foundation with a pungent, popping herbal bitterness, pinging and lingering long into the aftertaste... the bitterness -slash- yeast/hop character builds a leafy-green, marginally metallic; subtle bubblegum note develops by the end
F: light-bodied, mildly buoyant, but with a mellow silky drag-near-viscosity... the carbonation feels like it's carried along in big, sudsy bubbles, yet fine and delicate in texture... lip-smacky residual film
O: right up my alley, perfect starter for the end of my work week... I could easily drink a few of these and not get tired of them; well done! (1904)
