32 ounce crowler from the brewery poured into a tumbler.
L: Clear deep amber with sporadic rising bubbles replenishing the one inch soapy, off-white head.
S: Low aroma of floral hops and some lemon and pine over lighter malty notes and a small mineral aroma.
T: Slightly hop forward, lemon, grass, moderate peel bitterness, malt is light grain and caramel. The finish is dry and peppery.
F: Medium carbonation and a crisp, medium-light body.
O: A decent lager. In my opinion the look and feel read Maibock while the more hop forward nose and taste seem more American Lager-ish.

This is an interesting beer. A hearty robust lager clocking in at 6.8%. Has a light brown/orange appearance. I'm thinking this perhaps fits in the Vienna Lager catagory based on the flavors (slight toffee, caramel notes). An imperial Boston Lager basically. It has a hoppy crisp finish to balance the beer out. It's quite solid. Not recommended as a session summer beer however, it's a little heafty.
