16 ounce can, canned on 01/05/22, thanks again to Brutaltruth for this brew! Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around a while. Good amount of lacing. The brew smells like burnt/charred malt, oats, coffee and caramel. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some dark chocolate, dark bread, and dark fruit/berries. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, certainly worth picking up if you come across some!

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a dark
blackish brown with a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring,
thin swirling film, and shows some nice light lacing. Nose of dark chocolate,
dark roast, light char, and sweet caramel with brulee notes. Flavors surpass
the nose with dark roasted malts, dark semisweet chocolate, berry notes
of blackberry and raspberry, dark coffee hints, light brulee, and sweet
caramel. Nice mouth feel; medium full body, smooth, moderately
coating, light soft carbonation, and a balanced bitter malt finish.
Overall----very nice!
Cheers

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan head that died down and left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate amounts of chocolate malts are present in the nose along with hints of caramel.
T: The taste has flavors of chocolate malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink considering its strength but isn't as smooth compared to other oatmeal stouts.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a straight obsidian topped by a finger of dark khaki foam. The nose comprises roast, toast, and pine sap. The taste brings in more of the same, with a faint hint of candied orange peel skulking about in the back alley, furtive enough to be quiet and yet draw some minor attention (though no police have been called as of yet). The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fairly smooth feel. A pretty nice oatmeal stout, nothing to write home about, but something you could drink plenty of without thinking much of it.

On tap. Tan head. Black color.
Stout. Roasty, but smooth. Lots of chocolate. Some caramel. Dry. Decent but nothing fancy.

Not sure what a double stout means but this is decent stout. Smell is definite chocolate and toffee. Pours with a moderate head that disipates quickly; very little lacing. Taste is chocolate and oats. Well balanced flavors but the mouthfeel is quite thin - maybe a little overly carbonated as well. Would have liked a little more punch from the chocolate and malts.
2nd taste: it's overly carbonated. That is the first thing I noticed. You don't get to taste the flavors on the backend because of the overcarbonation.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, oil-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of oatmeal, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate taste with toffee, caramel, vanilla and a light bitterness.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped 'OATCHEESECAKE 12/08/21'.
Cola black colored body, with a cola brown fizzy head and surface show. No lacing.
Aroma of oats, char, and crisped up molasses.
Taste is a continuation of the nose, but lots of charred oats and brown sugar. Some darker chocolate at the end. Has that steely feel, from the oats, on the teeth.
Thinner mouth feel. Tends to be a scrubber effect on the teeth. Okay carbonation.
I think the thinner mouth feel is a draw back but maybe this is inevitable with the amount of oats in this brew.
