Can. White head with lace. Haze golden sunset.

Honestly, very underwhelming for a Modist/OH collab. Has a hop powder flavor to it. Melon and honeydew. Mango. Almost has the feel of a cold ipa. It’s tropical and juicy, but something seems off. Drinkable, but I wouldn’t revisit it.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (15% clarity) deep, pale orange color with a strong and lacy white head that lingers. SRM of 8. (4.25)

Aroma: Strong aromas of unripened pineapple and citrus, bitter grass, passionfruit, green citrus rind, pomelo, some lychee and Asian Starfruit. Unripened pineapple and citrus rind lingers

Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of grassy lemon citrus, pineapple, citrus rind, some honeydew melon. Some melon mixed with pine notes. A hop burn note, but some nice citrus flavors.

Feel: Medium-bodied. Lower carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel. Slightly heavier and sweeter. A little too much hop burn to finish. (3.50)

Compared to Other Half Green Power 6/5/22: Pours a brighter and hazier color, milder head. Aromas somewhat similar, slightly brighter. More unripened pineapple citrus rind, passionfruit, and tropical notes. Less orange pulp and green astringency.

Overall: A nice NEIPA that has some strong notes of unripened pineapple and citrus rind. Juicy, but also a grassy bite. Nice fresh, juicy flavors, but a little too much of a burn on the palate from the unripened rind and hops. Two great breweries making some haze, but probably not one I would seek out. Plus, the name seems like a last-minute idea. Could have been more appealing and creative. Two great breweries, but would like to see more of a thought-out concept with a better name (Rating: 4.13)
