A - Deep, dark, clear body of mahogany, orange highlights where the light comes through, and a light tan head that fades pretty quickly, leaving just a hint of a cap behind. The lacing is extensive, with tiny bubbles forming into substantial ropes around the glass.

S - A pungent note of tea and sweet malty goodness, with a bit of allspice and pepper spiciness.

T - Open of caramel and malty sweetness, with an undercurrent of tea tannic bitterness, and a finish where the bite subtly increases, the oak showing through, joined by a bit of that pepper that lingers on the close.

M - Moderate weight, substantial carbonation, a bit of slickness on the tongue, but enough dryness to clear it away cleanly.

O - A well-built Rye beer, certainly. Tasty and pleasant to drink, with enough going on to make it interesting. I like it.

16oz can. Can bottom is stamped with '#FALLOUTRYE 10/04/23'.
Clear, amber brown colored body. Three fingers of light tan head, which becomes a thin cap and ring. Leaves behind string patterns of lacing.
Aroma of spicy rye, toasted caramel malts, and a whiff of earthy hops. Hint of oak barrel.
Taste is sweet caramel malt, with spicy rye malt, oak barrel, and hops - hay, citrus, and earthy. Aftertaste lingers on the malts.
Slightly more than medium mouth feel. Has the tug of dryness from the oak barrel. Good carbonation.
Vibrant flavors of caramel, oak, and spicy rye blend together for this lager. Sweet and spicy. Totally smooth.
