A: hazy burnt orange color with some darker amber notes towards the center. Too hazy for a Saison
S: pear, green apple, and a touch of band aid funk to start. Lemongrass, sweet grains, pepper spice, and bready malts to close
T: big green apple and pear upfront. Sweet grains and lemongrass provide the backbone to the flavor. There is a hint of funk on the sides of the tongue as well. A touch of sweet citrus and melon too, I’m guessing from the dry hopping
M: medium mouthfeel with high carbonation
O: tasty and refreshing. The touch of funk is real nice. Nice Saison flavors, appearance could be significantly less hazy - but doesn’t hurt the beer in any other way. Good stuff

On draught at the brewery. It pours a turbid, golden-apricot color with a foamy, bright white head which dissipated quickly leaving a thin sheen of lacing. It has a pleasing nose featuring tangerine, banana, lime, clove, coriander, pepper, and a whiff of tobacco. The taste opens with citrus: bitter lemon and lime, along with the expected coriander and clove, and Belgian yeast. As the glass warmed, I began to taste some tropical fruit notes and a hint of tobacco and pepper. The Citra and Rakau hops provide a bitter but flavorful finish. The carbonation is lively and you can feel its 7.3% ABV. Overall, this Farmhouse Ale is more on the citrus side than I anticipated but it's adventuresome and quite good. I didn't drink Juicy Busey the last time it was brewed and they may have tinkered with the recipe but I think it deserves a slightly higher rating than it's received to date.
