A: super hazy burnt orange color. Some darker notes towards the center of the glass. Not the best looking hazy beer I’ve seen

S: orange creamsicle, sweet citrus, mango, strawberry, and crackers. Smells like a good NEIPA

T: loads of mango, sweet orange, pineapple and passion fruit. Some raw green earthy hops behind that that give a little earthy bitterness (not much). Some sweet malts in the backbone

M: fluffy medium mouth with little carbonation

O: Flavor-wise, an excellent NEIPA. Appearance is a bit dull, even for the sub style. But the flavor is what’s most important, and this definitely has it

Thanks MacMalt!
Pours a muddled, murky golden straw. Fluffy white head rises 2+ fingers and retreats to a smooth filmy ring. Decent retention, layers of clumpy lacing.
Nose begins with pineapple, then cruises through a mellow melange of citrus zest, mango, melon, and herbal notes that are like a subdued vanilla note.
taste begins with a mildly bitter grapefruit note, then some creamy grain. Very understated notes of melon, berry, and maybe juniper berries.
Mouthfeel is smooth, almost fluffy, and alive with carbonation.
Overall, a fine IPA. Somewhat tame on the flavors, but a lot going on to enjoy.

I had this on draught at the brewery. Pint pour. It pours a turbid, dirty apricot color with a thin, milk white head and a thin sheen of creamy lacing. The nose features lemon, grapefruit, a whiff of honeydew melon, and floral hops. It's a really pleasant smell but rather subdued. It improved as the glass warmed. The taste opens with tart lemon, bitter grapefruit, oats, and a touch of caramel, along with a tasty blend of Citra, El Dorado, and Vic Secret hops that bite hard. There's a distinct peppery astringency or yeast burn at the finish. It's complex and tasty. The best part of this beer is its mouth feel: it's super creamy, almost chewy, with lively carbonation, and a manageable 6.4% ABV according to the menu. Overall, this is another well-crafted and thoroughly enjoyable American IPA from Twin Elephant, which is quietly becoming a top notch brewer.
