The hoppy, the chewy and the god damn smooth & slammable. Loaded up with white & unmalted wheat, floor malted pilsner and English floor malted pale malt for biscuits on bread on honey. Dry hopped with Ekuanot, Cashmere and Citra. Smells like orange, tangerine and passionfruit. Tastes like Orangina, tangerine marmalade, candied clementine, and honey cake.

Pours opaque orange, a bit ruddy. Decent lacing, slight nose of candied orange or tangerine. Great flavor, but given the boast of wheat in the description, I expected a fluffier mouth feel. Solid beer though.

a: hazy, yet shiny burnt yellow color. almost copper, with a hint of orange. 1.5 finger fizzy off-white head
s: a bit of raw hops hit you upfront. mango, mango sorbet, and orange zest behind that. a slightly sweet, bready note as well. grapefruit and sharp pineapple. peach and a hint of blueberry as well. more sharp citrus to close
t: sweet peaches and sweet orange juice come to play first. mango sorbet and some faint bitter grapefruit. blueberry and a hint of caramel. more sharp, bitter grapefruit coats the sides of the tongue and becomes the dominant flavor towards the end along with a hint of hop burn
m: medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. a touch of stickiness as well
o: not a bad example of what i consider a NEDIPA, but i think it could use just a bit more out of the malts and hops

16oz can served in a Kane tulip. Received from @MacMalt in BIF #14. No date that I see. Considering MacMalt gave it to me, added it to the database, and gave it a review on October 3rd, saying he's reviewing it two days after the can release, I would guess the canning date was October 1st.
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a medium to small head that disappears and leaves a thin layer of islands and a moderately thick ring around the glass. Smell is mango and very ripe fruit. A little resin. And the booze may be somewhat evident.
Taste is a nice combination of juicy sweetness and resinous bite. Again, booze might be noticeable, but I think it's not making much of a difference.
Mouthfeel is fairly airy, effervescent, light, very clean. Overall, very nice beer.

Reviewed 2 days after can release. Poured into a pint glass. It pours an opaque, dirty golden-yellow color with a large, fluffy, bright white cap and thick, soapy lacing. The smell is big and bright with lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and wheat cracker. The taste opens dry and tart with citrus peel and dry wheat. The Ekuanot and Cashmere hops add dry bitterness. As the glass warms there is a hint of honey and tangerine that balances the initial dry bitterness. The mouth feel is crisp and clean with pleasant carbonation and it's hard to believe the ABV is 9% It drinks very easily. Overall, Product of a Misspent Youth is understated but quite good. I rarely rate straight across the criteria but this ale is solid in every respect.
