This beer smelled exactly how I imagined (and hoped). It’s an incredibly pure, clean brettanomyces aroma. It’s the beer characteristic that I just love about small, farmhouse-style breweries. They leave their fermentation to the mercy of nature, letting the natural, wild flora do the proverbial heavy lifting. Tons of funky, damp basement, lemongrass and lawn clippings. Flavor is a nelson hop explosion. Dry as a bone, vinous, white wine grapes, dusty floor, subtle bitterness and a slightly tart finish. This beer was all I thought it would be.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Pen Druid, poured into a snifter glass. Had a bright yellow color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a good shot of citrus fruit (lemon, orange), light malt notes (mostly in the finish), a good amount of hops (not too much, though), and some tropical fruit (passion fruit). A light, sweet, and fruity flavor. It's an incredibly effervescent, yet straightforward flavor - quite well-balanced. A solid, focused flavor.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.
O: A well made session IPA. Drinkable.
