Decent head, but a uniformly opaque amber yellow body sits bebes the it. The nose has a lumber-like wood characteristic that beats down a generic farmhouse impression. Passion fruit and citrus rind are also noted.
The taste doesn’t seem quite as heavily woody, though wood is in the mix. It seems a bit more like piney hops are involved. The fruit notes in the aromas pair with bitterness to drive home the citrus pith/peel sensation. Warmth brings with it a settling into a decent farmhouse flavor profile, though on a body that feels a bit too heavy for my preferences.

Unknown vintage; drank 8/6/22 @ Pokemon Communion.
A fantastic, mildly tart saison that was balanced, easy to drink and delicious. Wish this place was next to my house!!
