Growler share.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a murky to pale sort of bronzed orange color with a slim sheet of white level foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Just one ring of lace, slides nicely.
The aroma had some sweet fleshy pear, light grassy hop features, a touch of crushed clove and slid into a light white bread-like sort of quality at the bottom.
The flavor was moderately sweet but trying to bring in that spicy effect of the clove. Honestly, it didn't really do a good job of pulling in that clove, I have to admit. Aftertaste was somewhat pear-like with the grassy hops and an ever so slight sort of that white breadiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under and having a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Mild pear-like and grassy sort of white bready slightly sticky sort of finish.
Overall, pretty nice saison that I could have again.
