Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a slightly hazy golden body with some sticky lacing. Nose of citrus, slight hay, slight funk, and all the best attributes from the wine barrel including some tropical fruit as well as a bit of peach and strawberry(?) Taste of citrus, tropical fruit, and a bit of a champagne flavor coming through as well with a dry, wine-like finish. Very nice feel and overall, a nice, complex offering from Northfield, VT. Cheers!
