Approaching apple juice color. Cider-like. Yellowish. Very light head. White wine taste. Minimal spice notes. No hoppy taste. Pretty clean and straightforward. Nice to see a San Francisco brewery trying out a Belgian tripel.

Medium light and clear gold, not a tripel look. Light, off-dry, slight spice aroma. Lightly flavored, off-dry, spiced malt and a little hop presence.

The joke on Dante's Third Circle is irreverent and good enough.
Third Circle starts with slightly above average Looks; could use more foam. Smells mostly of citrus. Tastes are balanced and finishes semi-dry, but also slightly alcoholic. Except for that ABV, this tripel can sit in my mouth for a while; also having enough bubbles to scrub it clean for dinner.
Part of being un-Traditionally Irreverent," I sipped an ounce just after 9 (AM).
In a future rendition... these "monks" can always make a more lively yeast and conceal the alcohol a bit better.
Bought from The City Beer Store in San Francisco. My 3rd from Laughing Monk, they are becoming another good reason to visit the Bay Area. Keep it up, Bros ! A Votre Sante' !

Too much alcohol and not enough Belgian hops.
