From a 500ml bottle with no date
It is a solid dark/burnt orange with a cream colored head. Good retention. A little lacing.
It smells banana, cloves, orange, and a little bit of grassy hops.
It pretty much tastes the same. Fairly citrusy with orange, melon, and grapefruit. Not as much banana as the aroma, but it is there along with some cloves and corriander. Pretty funky yeast with some Brets. before some herbal/grassy flavor with a noticeable bitterness at the end.
Light and crisp. Pretty pithy and drying.
Overall, this is not a bad beer. However, it is branded/labeled as a pale ale. It is not. This is a saison that tastes like a combo of a Hefeweizen and Pale Ale recipe.

12 ounce bottle, label says bottled on 10.27.16. Served in a tulip, the beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with about an inch and a half white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells like herbal hops, citrus peel, melon, and some bready/grainy malt. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some grassy and funky flavors noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's refreshing, easy to drink and is well carbonated. I thought it was a good brew, and one that I'd like even better on a hot summer day. Definitely worth picking up, I'd like to buy this again when the weather gets warmer. $2.19 for a single bottle.
