With an demeanor that's both delicate and robust, the soft sweetness of cream mingles with coffee to share a taste of cappuccino along with that unmistakable British char.
Wishing well opens with a tightly woven crème of froth to cap an onyx-black body underneath. Simmering scents of dark-roast coffee seize the nose with those roasty, toasty nuances lurking closely behind. Burt toffee sweetness greets the front of the tongue while vanilla and heavy whipping cream offers such seduction and smoothness to the early taste and texture.
As its gentle malty weight rests upon the tastebuds, their saturation reveals a deep and earthen coffee taste with walnut and chicory at its core. Lightly seared in sweetness of toffee and pulled candy balance the roast char. Bittersweet chocolates and a nougat-like creaminess keeps the suggestions of milk chocolate in tow.
Medium-full and with a luscious mouthfeel, its silky smoothness wraps around the tongue and flushes the tastebuds with milk chocolate and java milkshake. Its malty-dry finish is of both vanilla and char- highlighting the stout's coffeehouse influence.
