Another solid offering by Southern Grist. A little less sweet and syrupy than Pineapple Sculpin (which I know gets mixed reactions from people), but it's definitely sweet and the pineapple is very central to the beer. Look is a gorgeous yellow-gold with a slight haze and a frothy white head that leaves a lot of sticky lacing. Aromas of pineapple, mango, tropical citrus, dank pine, and burnt sugar. Very resinous. Flavor is sweet and prickly, with a lot of pineapple, citrus, cactus (?) and bitter pine, some dank onion, and an herbal quality. Extremely juicy. There's malt there for balance, but it's more of a mellower than a specific flavor-provider. Feel is big, sticky, and well-carbonated. Very tasty if you like your IPAs sweet and juicy, which I do.
