Not bad. Definitely juicy. Incredibly drinkable and right up the NE IPA ally, but maybe not Southern Grist's most complete offering. I love the hazy, pulpy NE IPA look, but this one doesn't have that pretty, golden-orange quality, instead pouring a pale apple-cider-meets-fresh-squeezed-grapefruit-juice color. Definitely briny and thick, with a little white head that laces minimally. Smell is wonderful, full of grapefruit and citrus, tropical fruit, fresh-cut grass and light notes of pine and biscuit. Taste is bright and juicy but pretty muted. Lots of pithy grapefruit and tangerine, notes of pineapple and grass, some cracker and oats, and a heavy mineral quality on the tongue. Nice notes, I just wish they were a bit more pronounced. Feel is silky and pillowy, matching the look. Solid NE IPA that goes down easy, but not really pushing boundaries or bringing anything new to the table.
