Pours black with a light tan head. Good vanilla note on the nose. A bit more roasty than I would imagined, but the sweetness of maple provides good counterbalance. I got a hint of the cinnamon as well. Knocking score a bit overall, as I didn't really pick up on the nutmeg or vanilla on the palate.
