Jet black with a thin, light-khaki head, a little thicker in body than most of SG's darker offerings but not exactly viscous. Aroma is giant, like a liquefied black forest cake with vanilla ice cream. Lots of chocolate and berry. Taste follows with a big punch of chocolate cake, berries, caramel, vanilla, toasted malt, and hazelnut. Interesting splash of sea salt on the very back end of the sip that counters the sweetness wonderfully. Feel is medium-bodied and silky smooth. Not sure this is a beer I could consume a lot of in one sitting, as the sweetness is pronounced. But as a one-off it was decadent and delicious.

On tap at the source. Opaque dark brown with a rich tan head and rich lacing. Huge aromas of chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, and coffee. The taste followed closely. All the flavors were in outstanding balance. A creamy, silly feel with a dark chocolate finish. The ABV is well hidden. A phenomenal beer.

A cycle hazelnut killer. Perfectly attentuated. Flavors are natural. Salt is a great addition that leaves me thirsty for more. Brewer cites a caramel truffle, but this is so much better. Best beer of criderfest 2017 by far!

This beer blew me away.
Easily one of the best, if not the best, imperial stout they have made to date.
Nice creamy, thick, full body.
Chocolate and vanilla comes through. Mild coffee flavor.
Fantastic nutty finish.
Great beer.
