Phenomenal gose. Had a sampling of 6 different SG beers, with Juice Cabuice thrown in at the end for something different, but it was by far my favorite of the night. Incredibly clean, tasty, and refreshing. Body is a pale golden straw color with a nice haze to it, strong carbonation, and a thin white head that road its way down the glass and left a faint trail of lacing. Aromas of lemongrass, pithy citrus, sour candy, wet hay, and a little briny saline. Just spot on. Taste carries those strong gose themes forward, with a bright tartness on the front of the sip, lemon and citrus rind following, a little white cracker and green grass, and the perfect amount of salt to dry out the aftertaste and leave me craving another sip. Wonderfully sharp and crisp. Feel is a hair bigger than I expected, silky and medium-bodied. Maybe it was the hot evening air and a refreshing beer style that fit the mood just right. Or maybe it was the fantastic execution of the beer itself. Either way, it was the beer I wanted to drink more and more of as the night rolled on.
