Standard Appearance & Smell for a peanut butter stout. The addition of Maple Syrup really enhances the palate and accentuates the PB essence. Sweet/Nutty/"Maply" is how I'd describe this....reminiscent of some Tree House beers while not quite being executed on same level. Very Good for a SouthEast brewer though.

16 oz can, canned on 8/5/20, into BIBCO Teku.
Purchased at Cork Dorks, probably the last store in town that had this beer.
I'm sure this beer varies a bit based on how far out the can is drank from packaging. Maple is an oddity and so is peanut butter. So we got about 3 months of age on this bad boy.
Pours a light brown from the can and forms a dark chocolate color with a creamy khaki head of 1 finger. Some lace here and there as it recedes slowly.
Aroma is straight peanut butter cup with hints of perfume-y maple and very faint hints of grass.
Flavor is peanut butter-forward, following up with a little bit of nutty maple and slight lingering perfume-y herbal hop behind that. It is a roasty finish, with lingering nuttiness and bitter peanut butter. The maple does not seem to be as front and center as other reviews suggest, so it is probably gone from this can.
Feel is a little thin - a common problem with Southern Grist dark beers - and some oiliness from the peanut butter. Slick, roasty, dry are adjectives that come up mid-palate and stay true through the finish.
Overall, a tasty beer that I bought a couple 4 packs of. If I could change it now, I'd probably set one back and get a different Southern Grist 4 pack instead. It's solid, not spectacular, worth a look though. I think it's the slight perfume and herbal hop that gets in the way for me, but it may not be an issue for you if you're not as sensitive to those characteristics. Still a decent beer that a lot of folks seem to like, but SG has done better.
Price paid : $13.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : nah

Money Moves has a think, beige head, a very dark brown appearance, and minimal glass lacing. The aroma is of intense, salty peanut butter & chocolaty malt. The flavor is of those elements, with lots of sweetness, too. Mouthfeel is heavy, and Money Moves finishes on the sweet side.
