16 oz can, dated 12/15/20, into GITM Fatty.
Glowing ruby color with a creamy white-pink froth on top, 1 finger high, leaving no lace and receding gradually to a creamy ring.
Aroma is Cherry ICEE with no distinction from the real thing (!!), vanilla, coconut, marachino cherry, and shaved flavored ice.
I'm sitting here wondering how you actually achieve the flavor of shaved ice in beer. I can't even begin to think of the process. But they've done it. Once again, they've taken something totally bizarre and put it into beer format. This is a Cherry ICEE, full stop. Flavors of childhood come barging in, with shaved ice and cherry syrup, and a hint of vanilla. A little tinge of palatable heat. Adult Fla-Vor-Ice. How do you do this???
Feel is slick and smooth, and - I'm imagining it I'm sure - but it seems to have the rough texture of ice crystals buried within. It really completes the picture. Very mild warmth bringing the "adult" to this party.
Overall, I'm floored. This isn't my favorite flavor in the world, but now I'm convinced they could take a roast beef sandwich and turn it into beer and you wouldn't know the difference (don't do it). A very solid piece of brew and one i'd highly recommend, ESPECIALLY if you're looking for a slushie in beer form. This is wild.
Price paid : $18.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : yep

Poured light reddish with some light head from 32 oz crowler. Friend picked it up on a vacation in Tennessee. Initial smell of coconut and cherry for me. Strawberry may be in there but I definitely got more cherry. Crisp. Very slight sweetness and nice tartness. Got a lot of coconut and cherry flavor. I'm not a huge sour guy but I thoroughly enjoyed this.
