Imperial stout loaded with coffee from our friends at Barista Parlor Coffee Shop. Utilizing their rotating Daredevil blend, this 2018 vintage features a beautiful single origin Ethiopian bean.

500 mL bottle released in late October. Poured into a snifter. Opaque dark brown color with a thin tan head. Big fresh coffee on the nose. Fruity notes as well. Very coffee-forward with chocolate and blueberry notes. Some vanilla and char as well. Better after a few weeks in the bottle compared to the on draft release, as the coffee as settled down a bit. Just delicious now.

On tap at the brewery, I think it was listed as 11% abv. Typical stout appearance. Smells like coffee and malts. Tastes like lactose, coffee, and malts. Not a bad beer at all.
