A: Pours an opaque juice-like orange and yellow with a short-lived white head.
S: Mostly I get typical hop characteristics showing up, along with some juiciness. Based on the "darker" note, I think I'm getting the Barbe Rouge coming through as well - not sure.
T: Okay the Barbe Rouge hops are forefront and add such a unique flavor profile to this beer. Not only do you get a "hop pop" in the usual Southern Grist sense, but accompanying it is a blueberry jam-like flavor. Of course, you get the typical floral and pineapple/guava notes.
M: About what I'd expect from a medium-high gravity NEIPA like this: smooth and velvety with a light carbonation.
O: This is a great beer. It's a top-notch NEIPA with the kick of the Barbe Rouge hops, making it stand out among others in the same category.
