Poured into a snifter. A deep dark chocolate color with a medium tan head. As billed, the aroma was chocolate cake batter with faint coffee. The taste followed. A quintessential pastry stout. Rich cake batter flavors with a smooth finish. ABV was masterfully hidden. Full bodied and rich. A great representation of the style.
