A: Pours a hazy golden hue with a slight off white head
S: The nose is very understated. Lemon. Pineapple and orange. The nose is more of Hops than fruit.
T: Guava and peach puree some grapefruit and some rindiness. Cantaloupe as it warms. Managed to get sweeter and sourer as it warms
MF: It has a thickness but drinks clean.
O: I like this but I want to like it more and can't. While it is enjoyable, there is an element to it that keeps me at arms length.

Terrific offering from the Southern Grist crew... this one hits all the marks of an IPA and a sour ale combined into one. Not too sour not too laden with hops... it's a perfect balance between the two beers.... hops that they used our very complementary to the sourness of the ale...slightly tart.. nicely hopped... really really nice...
