Golden, cidery body with medium haze, just a thin film head, and a little spotty lacing. But thankfully it does look like beer! (You never know with SG.)
Smell is pretty awesome and boozy as hell, but that’s what you get with a 10% “triple IPA.” Not subtle, for sure. The previous review really nailed it: the Nelson is so strong on the nose. Huge, musky white grape, earthy white wine, some dank berry, and a little pear. You get some citrus and mild tropical fruit from the Mosaic to round things out a bit. And there’s a wonderful, boozy, resiny, overripe fruit dankness (and almost stinkiness) lurking throughout. Really, really love it.
Flavors don’t quite keep up, but the overall profile is still very good. Heavy (in a good way) on the wine grapes, dank greens, overripe berries, and pithy citrus rind. Perfect level of sweetness, in my opinion. Very boozy, but not really “hot.” It’s so big you get a bit of a barleywine character, but the bitterness and strong hop presence 100% keeps you in IIPA territory. Not sure I’ve had a hazy triple IPA before, so not sure what that really means, but I very much like the combination of fruit, sweetness, bitterness, and dank stank, and the Nelson-Mosaic combo is awesome.
Fairly thin body, but good carbonation and a soft, smooth feel.
Very unique beer, and certainly very big. Will absolutely revisit.

I listed this as NEIPA but it's really a "triple NEIPA," coming in at 10.1%. It was a vibrant bright yellow color with a thick white head. Great retention and lacing in the glass. Aromas of white grapes, berries, resin, and bread. Taste followed. The best of Nelson up front with white wine and grapes, followed by Mosaic berries and dank resin, ending with tropical notes and white grapes. There was a slight sweetness on the finish based on the ABV. The body was a bit bigger than medium but not overly sweet. Overall a fantastic TIPA that threaded the dry to sweet needle better that nearly all I have had.
