What started as an imperial oated sweet stout then spent over 12 months aging in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. This full bodied and rich stout was then conditioned on cacao nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon and a blend of chili peppers.

Appearance: Arrives fudge colored with a thin cap; spots of lace
Smell: Chocolate, cinnamon and chili with a vanilla hue
Taste: The heat shows up right away, enveloping the chocolate and cinnamon flavors, the vanilla arrives, after the swallow, to cool things down
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation; heat and warmth
Overall: Not my favorite of this style but still quite good
