Poured into a snifter. A hazy peach-pink color in the glass with a medium white head. Lots of vanilla and lactose on the nose. The fruit was also there but it paled in comparison to the sweet notes. Fortunately the taste was more fruit forward with bright grapefruit notes. The sourness was in check with the lactose and vanilla, and I was left tasting fresh grapefruit pulp that faded into a sweetish, vanilla finish. Full bodied from the lactose. Overall an interesting beer but a bit too heavy on the lactose and vanilla for me.
