This is a collaboration beer with Other Half, opened 11/20/21.
Monumentally complex aroma upon opening. Pours jet black with moderately sculpted foam. Aroma is that of rum and oreos and taste follows. Coconut profiles loom in the background. This is a very sweet stout, perhaps a bit overly balanced on the sweet side, soaked in rum flavor and dripping with intense oreo taste.

Gussssssshhhhhhhher! Yep, it came out of the bottle with force. Other than that, appearance was glossy black with a tan head that settles to a fine dark mocha chain.
Strawberry???? Like not a little bit. I'm tasting tons of strawberry. And there's none added...huh? It's sort of like jam...but super sticky.
Yes the main chocolately, sugary sweet underlying stout is there, but it's actually tasting like a neapolitan stout more than an Oreo cheesecake, like no joke. Except that it's tart and seems off.
Later this evening I had the worst heartburn of my life, to the point I thought I was going to puke. I only had a small bit of this beer before drain pouring it, but, I can't think of anything else that would have brought this heartburn on to such a degree. Southern Grist maintains this was just a refermentation/carbonation issue, but the gushing in concert with the totally unexpected yet intense presence of strawberry tells me this is totally infected.
