Very solid for a 6.5% beer, but basically average (at best) for a NE IPA.
Pale gold body, medium haze, with A thin cap of bright-white foam that leaves almost zero lacing. Looks appealing by highly un-noteworthy.
Citrus juice, grass, light biscuit yeast, grape musk, some berry, and a little resin on the nose. A little green and quite floral. Nice but pretty standard.
Bright citrus (especially lemon and grapefruit), dry white wine, cracker, and a strong mineral note on the tongue. Almost zero sweetness. Nicely pithy and bitter. Highly uncomplicated.
Thin and effervescent feel. Smooth but prickly.
Happy to support a timely cause, and you’re obviously not expecting an overly complex (and expensive) recipe on a one-off like this. But I was hoping (though not expecting) that the Other Half involvement would provide something unique to the party. Alas, this is really hazy IPA 101 territory.
