Solera style foeder beer aged 7 months in a French Bourdeaux Foudre with our mixed culture and was then bottle conditioned.

Look: Pours a purple / reddish hue very similar to wine with a one finger, beige head of foam that immediately fizzles out and leaves no lacing. Sediment visible at the tail end of the pour.
Aroma: Raisins, chocolate, sour cherries, sour yellow pear. Caramel and a very small touch of dried orange peel and tamarind.
Taste: Slightly sour. I get fig wine, caramel, butterscotch and hints of chocolate raisin. Tart and tangy.
Feel: Low alcohol profile. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Pretty easy drinking.
Overall: I'm not a big foeder beer guy. Most of the time they are too vinegary and sweet for me. This was not very sour at all which I really appreciated.
