16 oz can, canned on 10/16/20, into Smokestack snifter.
Pours a ruddy muddy unsightly brown with some darker black shades and a beige head of 1 finger that disappears quickly but leaves some decorative lace.
Aroma is coconut, mashed bananas, pastry dough, and slight cinnamon. It smells exactly like the coconut blondie donut I acquired from Donut+Dog the other day.
Flavor in order of strength is : mashed banana, cinnamon, vanilla wafer, and coconut. Has slight elements of chocolate but very faintly.
Feel is smooth and creamy with a crisp carbonation and a slick finish not unlike a banana peel.
Overall, this was a weird one. I can tell tons of bananas were used in this beer. I can almost see the fruit flies coming out of the can. It is still tasty though, but nowhere near as good as their Macadamia Nut Copra Kai I had last year, but not much else is. An unbelievable amount of smushed ripe bananas here. For fans of ripe bananas, in fact this is what the Wells' beer should have been.
Price paid : $16 / 4 pack
Would buy again : possibly
