16 oz can, canned on 10/6/20, into Bearded Iris Teku.
Pours a wonderfully juicy medium blonde color with a creamy head of 1 finger, receding to 1/2 finger leaving connected lace up the sides.
Aromas are fresh and citrusy, with fresh herbs, cannabis, tangerines, lemons, red grapefruit, and just a mild touch of soap.
Flavor brings some heavy malt grist, followed by sweet grapefruit, tangerine, strawberry, and then some bitter lemon, bitter grapefruit, slight ash, slight soap, and hop resins. Closes out on more malt grist and some grapefruit pith. It's very tasty, but it's merely a solid 4.
Feel is juicy and creamy, great acidity, virtually no alcohol heat.
Overall, I'm not familiar with Hort 4337, but it seemed to impart some soapy characteristics and maybe didn't blend well with the Mosaic or took positive attributes away from it. It's still a solidly brewed IPA. I kinda wish I would have picked up the other Mixed Greens but it was 5 weeks old at that point (I know, cry me a river), so I left it sit. Not SG's best, but still a very solid NE IPA. Score reflects the beer well.
Price paid : $16.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : I will buy the series again
