1 PINT can
Served in a stemless wine glass

This beer pours a purplish red hue. It is topped with a couple inches of pinkish orange head that leaves decent lacing.

I am surprised at how much tangerine I smell. Black current does its best to keep up. Guava is in the background.

I get black current upfront. The tangerine quickly rushes in. It reminds me of orange pop but in a great nostalgic way. The black current adds some tartness on the back end. The guava is, once again, in the background.

Full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel

I really like the tangerine in this beer. Usually, that is not a go to flavor or aroma for me unless it is in an IPA. I just really like how this fruit combination works. I love guava, but I am not mad that it is not the dominant fruit. Well done.

16 oz can, dated 1/27/21 into Urban South Willie.

The juiciest watermelon color with a bubble gum pink head of 1 finger, receding to a creamy ring leaving sheets of lacing.

A ton of juicy tangerine hits the nose, followed by spritzy tropical punch, cranberry, currant, and lime.

Flavor is super tart, more tart than other Hill beers I've had. But still not overly sour. Lots of seedy black currant, and the guava pops out pretty nicely as well. The tangerine wraps it up on the finish with some peel and juice. There is also some raspberry flavor in here as well. Maybe a hint of lemon-lime. If it were a touch less tart, it'd be simply amazing. But make no mistake the fruit in this is killer.

Feel is acidic and juicy. Just like I like 'em. Typical busy Hill carbonation. Slight starch and acid on the finish. No heat as expected.

Overall, another fantastic Hill beer. They never miss. This one is worth 1 or 2 more singles while I purchase 4 packs of other fruits. Maybe just maybe a 4 pack. Trying to not spend every last dime I budgeted. Like I said a bit more tart than other Hills. Fruit is still insane on this. I like Jream Hill better and Coconut Cream Pie maybe a smidge better.

Price paid : $4.99 / can
Would buy again : absolutely
