16 oz can from the brewery room warehouse, 2/5/21, into Dogfish Head Nonic.
Dank juice, dark blonde in color, with a creamy head of 1 finger.
Aroma of yeast farts and slight diesel with some hop stems and general bitter greenery. Deeper notes of drunk apricot and grain mash.
Flavor is hot diesel, cilantro stems, mango, papaya, and cantaloupe/melon. Would be good for crushing when you're already three sheets to the wind. Lots of hops. Lots of alcohol. Woo.
Feel is creamy, with less alcohol than 10% would usually impart, with some soft carbonation, light acidity, and lingering resins. Dries out a bit on the tongue. Feel a headache coming on.
Overall, for a 10% triple IPA, I expected more from Southern Grist. This is still tasty, but they have done better with huge IPAs.
