16oz can with a date that is 5 months ahead of todays date?? (lol, someone screwed up)

Amber, clear-ish, looks like a pink Sierra Nevada Pale ale but with worse head (but who cares about that). Smells airy and like tropical fruit, pineapple - very un-beer like in a good way. Tastes very un-beer-ish, starts with a sour hit and fades into tropical fruit flavor

Definitely showing off some skill here, I just may be burnt out on the Fruit Sours, there's too many good'ns

16 oz can, dated 1/11/21, into Bearded Iris Teku.
"Sour Ale brewed with lactose, pomegranates, cara cara oranges, cranberries, peaches, and prosecco gummy bears".

A glowing dark pink lemonade color with a whitish-pink head of 1 finger. Leaves slight lacing.

Aroma is somewhat on the light side, but I can grasp the cranberries, oranges, and even the gummy bears. It smells like some sort of fruity cocktail. I even get a little vanilla and marshmallow.

Flavor is a bit like fruit cocktail juice. It's enjoyable without being too sour or too sweet. Has a good "lite" fruity presence. Earthy and tangy cranberries lead this one, with Juicy orange, and some undefined sweetness (assumedly from the gummy bears). The Prosecco thing works well here giving a fruity wine-like quality. Pretty arty.

Feel is super acidic and juicy. Effervescent too, very light, high carbonation but not out of line, and just a touch of alcohol which is its only...flaw, I guess you could say.

Overall, once this beer gets beyond ice cold, it opens up wonderfully. It's not a flavor burst like the Double Fruited Hills or some of the other winners in this series, but it holds its own as an enjoyable little session pup. It tastes like their Sangria Hill should have tasted.

Price paid : $4.25 / can
Would buy again : there's better more flavorful ones to choose from each week
