Oddly no date printed on this can but I got it somewhere on my other two cans.
Probably March of 2021. Ghost in the Machine Teku.

Color of Welch's grape jelly, with a thin half finger of head leaving loopy lace as it recedes.

Aroma is a tug of war between super intense grape sucker and peanut butter on bread. It's beautiful though. Lots of sour grape candy, lots of peanut butter bread.

Flavor brings super realistic warm bread crusts swinging out right away - you can taste every bit of soft cushion-y wheat bread - with a follow-up of hard sour grape candy, and finally a bit of peanut. The peanut butter isn't as loud here and the grape really takes over. The previous "Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jelly" iteration I had did a good balancing act. This one skews more "grape jolly rancher" and "warm wheat bread" than anything.

Feel is crisp, busy, carbonated, very minor heat, with a mildly puckering finish.

Overall, not in the same zipcode as the PB&SJ but still pretty solid. The nuance here is incredible as usual. I generally like to stick to their non-imperial sours as the alcohol gets in the way just a smidge and tends to muddy up the beer a bit. Plus, I can't drink three of these and still complete a sentence.

Would buy other iterations in the series again, no problem.

$21.99 4-pack @ The Nations Taproom (in line with the quality you get)

Rating is to style and brewers intentions.

This is the most incredible of all HILL variants I've enjoyed (which isn't many). Once you've gandered at the "look" I suggest closed eyes to really take in the experience of this beer. All things considered this definitely is a PB&J in liquid form. Last train to childhood "all aboard." Nailed the interplay of peanut butter and concord jelly....smack of peanut up from followed by a wave of grape jelly which applies to both the nose and taste.

Going to relish my 3 remaining cans.

16oz can poured into a tulip

A- pours a clear and bright ruby color with a one-finger foamy white head that has short retention

S- aroma is just as advertised, straight up peanut butter and jelly. Roasted peanuts with a red grape-like jammy aroma to compliment

T- slightly acidic tartness up front with notes of jammy concord grapes. Mid-palate gives some creamy lactose notes that adds a hint of vanilla. The finish brings out roasted peanuts that continues into the finish, with tart and jammy grape on the linger

M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that continues into a tart finish

O- one of the most PB&J tasting PB&J beers I've had in a while, well done
