16oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a deep purple color with a one-finger foamy white head that has short retention, plenty of floaties dancing around the bottom of the glass
S- smells just like a cobbler; jammy blueberries and boysenberries with undertones of creamy vanilla, reminiscent of ice cream plopped right on top. Intense jammy notes
T- tangy and jammy berry notes up front, are followed by a milky lactose note that enhances the vanilla addition, giving off flavors of ice cream, similar to the nose. The finish has a strange plastic-like flavor that I can't figure out
M- medium body with moderate-low carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and finish
O- jammy berries with a nice vanilla not throughout, the only downside was the weird artificial finish

16 oz can, dated 12/22/20, into GITM Fatty.
Super saturated boysenberry jam color...I mean it's just thick thick purple goop. I love it. Head is fleeting but is pink and 1 finger to start. No lacing.
Aroma from the can is tons of cinnamon, then blueberries, boysenberries, berry syrup, ice cream, graham cracker, & pie crust. Aroma from the glass homemade vanilla soft serve with berry jam. It's right on the money. They nailed it. I've smelled other so-called dessert sours and they're not as convincing as this.
Flavor follows mostly but doesn't overdo it on the dessert sweetness. There's still some semblance of balance. I love that about SG. Some boysenberry and graham cracker crumbs start this off, with a tart shot of sour culture; following with sweet blueberry, pleasantly tart berry preserves, sugary pie crust, then some cinnamon and a super realistic note of ice cream (how?). The flavors are all here...and this never gets cloying or too much to deal with and that's why this beer rules.
Feel is slick and a touch thin (but that makes it very crushable and a mite dangerous), some tartness on the cheeks and tongue, and stickiness. No alcohol heat anywhere in this near-8%'er.
Overall, an incredible dessert sour. I can't imagine anyone disliking this. With all of those adjuncts it would be easy to mess something up but these guys are master brewers. Most on-point dessert sour I've had. This is precisely why I haul. Highly recommended.
Price paid : $22.99 / 4 pack
Would buy again : yes it is worth its price
