No head and an opaque mango peach/orange color. The nose is not quite as pure juice, but it is pretty close. There's mango and a bit of sweetness that I don't take to be the lactose. It could be the lychee, and it gives and slight impression of a suntan lotion coconut aroma. It's decent enough though I expected a little more oomph from it.
Not quite as thick as I expected, but it is heavier than many a beer (except perhaps for dessert stouts). The carbonation pokes through with mini needles accentuating the sour notes that are in the beer. Whatever that sweetness is I got on the nose seems to perhaps be cutting through the tart/tang I'd want from a sour. It doesn't come across as coconut, but combines with the fruit juice to leave the beer feeling unfinished.
I've had other slushee like sours before that were more refreshing and interesting to me.

Fruited sours vary between one another by so much that I never know what to expect. This is a very juicy one. It actually resembles a mimosa with mango juice much more than a beer. Not bad at all and if you like fruity juice bombs, this is for you. I prefer them a little less juicy (SeaQuench, or anything more “gose-esque”). I’d buy this again to have for brunch, but it just feels out of place at 9pm.
