2-month-old can poured into a tulip.
Pretty much everything you could reasonably hope for in a NE IPA on the pour, especially for a 6.2% beer. Beautiful orange-gold coloring, full haze with zero "pulp" or murk, 1-2 fingers of fluffy, bright-white head, and really solid soapy lacing down the glass. A little thin around the edges and not the creamiest head compared to larger ABV offerings. But in general, and especially for a 6% hazie, the appearance is world class.
Wonderful nose (again, both in general and especially for the size of the beer) that really pops out of the glass. Ripe orange and grapefruit, pithy citrus peel, light mango and passionfruit, green grape, faint melon, and a round-out of berries. Very grassy but not in a cheap, over-fry-hopped way. Herbal and floral, with a little dankness, a little green onion, some distinct honeysuckle and lemongrass, and a light wheat biscuit kick. The juicy citrus dominates, which is lovely, but this one covers most hazie bases. It isn't a monster by any means, but it punches well above its weight class on the nose. And as this thing warms a big? Wow, you get additional notes of pineapple, guava, Riesling grapes, and a new level of greenery (in keeping with the name, and all highly pleasant). Just outstanding.
The experience on the tongue rings a lot of the same notes, but it's definitely more subdued and muddled and can't keep up with the strong aroma profile. Orange, grapefruit, green grape, and a big dose of key lime, with milder compliments from the tropical fruits, melon, and berries. The grassiness plays a bigger role on the tongue, but is light and herbal. A little bit of bitter pine resin, with a solid dose of citrus peel pith. Quite dry with the residual sweetness all presenting as grapefruit juice. Glorious semi-sweet burbs of ruby red. I don't think you would place this as a 6% hazie if drinking blind, but the taste is definitely the first place the size of the beer becomes more obvious.
That's true on the feel, as well -- silky and soft, with just the right amount of carbonation and a wonderful coating aspect, but not sticky or chewy in any way. Zero alcohol presence, with a pithy, bitter finish.
It's been a little while since I've picked up a 4-pack of DDH Mixed Greens. I'm a sucker for Citra and Vic Secret, so it seemed like a natural. It's also getting harder and harder to find high-quality hazies in the 6% ABV range, so now that the temps are rising in TN it was a pleasure to come back to this quality series. Always delicious and well-crafted, and never disappointing. This is one of my favorites of the various installments they've rolled out. You'd be hard-pressed to find many better all-around 6% hazies.

A: Pours a very murky milky bright golden peach in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale yellow + bright orange + pale orange + apricot colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall creamy sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of slightly mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + gooseberry + citrus/orange zest hops as well as moderate herbal hop aromas. Light to moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat malts with a light to moderate amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate aromas of herbal hops. Finally there are moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + gooseberry + citrus/orange zest hops which impart a very light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving moderate lingering citrus + gooseberry + herbal hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Moderate amounts of creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly creamy soft/fluffy mouthfeel. Enjoyable hop profile with the citrus, tropical, gooseberry, and herbal hop flavor/aromas. I could easily have a couple of these.

Canned 4/15/21; drank 5/23/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong, frothy lace.
Orange peel, dry grass & grapefruit notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dry grapefruit & orange soda flavors up front; very dry ganja notes on the finish.
For a "New England" style IPA, this was too biting & bitter. Not one I'll return to.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lime are present in the nose along with notes of herbal hops.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberry from start to finish and also has notes of lime and hints of herbal hops. Only a slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and rather juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found the taste of this New England IPA to be interesting and complex.
