16 oz can, dated 5/20/21, into Ghost In The Machine Teku.
Gorgeous thick blueberry juice color, just wonderful murky purple-pink. Bubble gum pink head starts at 2 fingers and recedes to 1 and leaves light lacing in spots.
Aroma from the can is wildberries, strawberries, blueberries, pancake syrup, and clean acidic sour culture. I get a little bit of crispy pancake if I try for it from the glass. I do not get banana here but that is okay.
There it is! Huge smashed bananas right off the bat - virtually indistinguishable from the real thing (because it is the real thing). Follows up with huge banana bread, blueberry muffin, maple powder, acidic berries, banana compote (as noted below), and tangy whipped wildberry yogurt.
Feel is acidic and semi-juicy with no heat @ 6%, moderately puckering but not too sour, has a nice finish that bites the cheeks with acidity and pucker and leaves a crisp and smooth finish.
Overall, another Hill winner. Very soft and smooth. Not as straight forward as the other Hill beers - this isn't simply just fruit and lactose - but it's one that acclimates very easily to the palate after the first 2-3 sips. This would absolutely KILL if they incorporated the Korintje cinnamon and vanilla beans from their "Cobbler" series. I can only hope.
Again, never overdone on the sweetness or the sourness. I love these perfectly balanced beers. Very well done.

Wow! It literally tastes like blueberry pancakes with a banana compote topping. These guys are killing it with their quirky HILL sour series.
