Terrific offering from SG...
Absolutely nails the flavor profile...blackberries...peanut butter...the sweetness from the marshmallows...
Some of these beers are over the top with their busyness but not in this case...present and accounted for but all the elements seem to know their role and its like a wonderful PB & J sandwich with marshmallow fluff...

16 oz can, dated 5/25/21, into Ghost In The Machine Teku.
Another mauve-colored beer tonight, although this one admittedly is a little more electric-red colored. Finger of head, recedes to a creamy ring, leaving spots of lacing. No residue ;-)
The peanut butter aroma in this beer is totally unreal. I'm sure it's the same as the other PB Hill beers, but it stuns me every time. Chunky or smooth, take your pick, followed by Reeses' Puffs, blackberry yogurt, jammy dark fruit, graham cracker (there's the Puffs again), and marshmallow. All part of a balanced breakfast. Jammy as all get-out, but always, always eclipsed by this peanut butter wave.
Flavor is Reeses Puffs cereal and blackberry yogurt. Full stop. Could use a touch more peanut butter but that might throw off the incredible balance struck here. It's incredibly clean. (Compared to the Drekker I had just prior, it's like a world class Saison.) Super clean. Super fresh. Lots of acidity. Lots of flavor. Blackberry jam folds over the cereal, and it stops on a note of those mini-marshmallows from the shaker can.
Feel is acidic, carbonated, clean, crisp, and leaves a nice coating on the mouth. Zero heat.
Overall, unlike many breweries, SG refuses to throw shit together and hope for the best. They make sure it works. Even this bizarre blackberry yogurt peanut butter cereal beer. Other companies make sours, yeah, some are good, some are bad, but these Hill beers are like a soul mate to my palate. Even the weird ones. Whatever they do, it works for me. May not work for you. Who cares, you gotta drink what you love. Gonna move in upstairs, k guys?
